When is an Arborist Report needed?
Councils require a Pre DA or Arboriculture Assessment Impact Report before development commences.
The best time to involve the Arborist is at the design stage of the building development ,as input at this time may save money later. The value and amenity of the property will be increased with healthy trees on the site ,and should be considered an investment .
Clients may want to remove a tree on a private property and need a Risk Assessment Report as part of the application for a Tree Preservation Order.
The types of reports available from Urban and Rural Design are
1.Preliminary Tree Assessment Report (pre DA ) 2. Arboriculture Impact Assessment Report 3.Tree Management Plan for Development 4.Tree Protection Certification 5.Tree Risk Assessment using the TRAQ method (ISA)
Angela Maroney as a consulting Arborist ,has an AQF Level 5 with Diploma of Arboriculture to do these reports, covered by Professional Indemnity Insurance .There is no conflict of interest as we do not perform tree removal work , so can give our clients the best advice for the current situation .
